Motley Crue singer Vince Neil has suffered two broken bones in his left foot. Vince posted the following note last night on Twitter: “Cleveland tonight. Paramedic’s think i broke my foot. I hope not. Getting X-ray tomorrow in Toronto. Thanks Cleveland for understanding.” After having an X-ray done at a local Toronto, ON hospital, Vince made another post on Twitter stating that he has broken two bones and posted a pic as well (see below). According to source’s close to Vince, the production team added an extra step to part of the stage that has never been there during this tour. Vince fell after missing that step.
There is no word yet on if this will cause any cancellations of Motley Crue’s tour with KISS. Vince has been injured in the past and has always managed to keep touring. In 2004 he broke his ankle in a car accident and had to cancel only 1 show, finishing the rest of the dates sitting on a bar stool while singing. In 2005 in Atlanta, during a Motley Crue show, Vince tore part of his calf muscle in his left leg. Against his doctor’s advice, Vince continued to tour using a custom cane.
After the tour with KISS, Vince will take part in the Rock and Rock Fantasy Camp (Oct 10-14) along with Gene Simmons, Zakk Wylde, Sebastian Bach, Bruce Kulick and more! Following that, Vince will hit the road once again with his solo band. View solo tour dates here.
UPDATE: Vince has posted the following message on his twitter. “To my fans- Thnxs 4 ur support. I have 2 fractured bones. The show must go on!! I’m sorry I won’t be able to give you the show you deserve!”
