Today, I woke up and the first thought that occurred to me before even opening my eyes is the one mentioned in the thread subject.

Vince's fatness has fluxuated over the years, but whether he's been 'more' or 'less' fat, there's been one constant for sure: he's fucking fat. Period. It's just been a matter of HOW fat.

And it's ironic considering some of the stage raps he's used over the years, like the one in the 1989 Feelgood proshot from Kansas City where he talks about "all those fat fuckers sitting at home on their fat asses in front of the fucking television" or whatever. He turned into the very thing he criticized and at this point, it's been that way for almost half of his life.

Vince Neil is fat. And the worst part is: it's never gonna change. He's gonna keep swilling empty calories and sitting on his own fat ass like a beached whale, unable to move and do what it takes to become healthy and trim again.

It bothers me. The legacy that man will leave isn't one of a great frontman, but one of a fat, drunken womanizer with marginal vocal talent. Motley will always be associated with a fat, washed up frontman because that's what Vince has become. A fat, out-of-shape half-assed singer who spends too much time sucking beer from the bottle.

Fucking fatass. Fuck it.

He really ought to legally change his name from Vince Neil to Vince MEAL. The other three guys legally changed their names to suit their talents, what's he waiting for? I can see him now, sitting there in some government office with a pen in one hand waiting to sign the name-change documents, while his other hand is firmly wrapped around a quarter pounder with cheese, while his jaw moves up and down, slurping on a king sized bite of fast food that only a fat fuck like Vince would enjoy. Goddamn it.

His ex-wife even cried about it on some documentary. Talking about "the Vince that I knew with the cheekbones and energy? He's gone." All she was left with was a hollow shell of a fat turd who couldn't exert the slightest effort to resemble a human being. Then he left her for someone else who will tolerate him in exchange for cash. What a disgrace.

Unfortunately bro - we all age.  Some more gracefully than others.  I couldn't care less about his weight, I care more about his voice (yes, I understand that the two are somewhat connected).  The weight can probably largely be attributed to his alcohol consumption and genetics.  The voice?  Laziness.  I guess maybe they go hand in hand, but honestly - this sort of rant is childish and very narrow sighted.  The larger issue is his alcoholism and what's likely to happen to the man's health because of it.  We all knew going in for this tour that Vince would be Vince.

Why care about his weight? It's so funny that in America, where the obesity issue is so important, that people will rag on Vince for being chubby. Who gives a flying fuck? A lot of skinny dudes can't sing to save their lives either; do we comment on their lack of fat?

All I care about when I see them live is whether Vince will sing well or not. Being chubby will NOT be the determining factor.

If HE really cared about sounding good, he'd take some singing lessons, or watch videos of the Feelgood and Swine tours where he sounded fucking great and work hard at sounding like that again!

Oh stop it with the "he sounded good"
He hasn't been good since Theater of Pain. He always sucked as a vocalist. Right now he sounds like a whiny little bitch when he attempts to sing. It's pretty embarrassing. He's a talentless hack and has always been. I love the band for what they once were but let's face it, Vince was always the weak link. They were never a great band live but now Vince really exposes the band terribly.

Most people aren't so disturbed by Vince Neil's weight that it wakes them up in the morning. Or keeps them up at night.

Perhaps you're iconizing Vince as a symbol of other troubling things?

Sounds like projection. :shrugs:

I don't agree with you. The best he sounded was between 1989-1992, then again during the Swine tour.

The visual side of Motley has been a huge part of their success. Which is more evident than ever now.
So I can see where you're going with this.
I think that Vince has done a great job keeping in decent shape since the reunion.......until recently.
Vocally, I think he's gone downhill since CF2. He seems to make less effort, more skipping, slurring, and being off time in the same songs consistently. This gives the fans the impression that he's partying too hard, or out of breath/too fat, or plain ole doesn't give a fuck/lazy.
Especially since there are so many successfully popular sing along songs they have, which is why we keep going back. Why cant he sing the songs right?
But man, with the Final Tour Kimmel announcement, he looked and sounded horrible. It was a huge bummer.
......and is hasn't seemed to change much even with the 5 month build up.
It's a dirty job but someone's gotta do it

And why do I need an "adjustment"???? Because I'm calling like it is? Please. And I'm no hater, just calling the way things are. He's fat, he's out of shape, he's an alcoholic big time, he only cares about himself and he's a terrible vocalist. It is what it is. I just call the truth. I'm still a fan
