as per Cockney's text from this week, and I'd guess via peeps Twitter discussions, the aim is to be at the pub for 7/7.30

see you then!

I had hit somekind of wall at about 9 last night; drinking on and off from midday probably wasn't the best idea of mine.

But thanks to whoever mentioned

as that along with a coke on the journey home was the perfect pick-up

Not at all, on reflection; I think spending most of the day drinking drinks that have ice in them on a cold day; gave me the chills and a sense of indolence.

One of the great things about my gig is that it's part time!

what...what...Watkins!

Jeez, just seen the news about the Lost Prophets singer.

Although, the excessive animal pornography shouldn't be that much of a surprise given that he's Welsh!

Yeah quite a bolt out the blue ..... Couldn't believe 1 part of the accusation , if found guilty he deserves everything coming. Seems the band were oblivious to his doings as well. That's the end of that band IMO

last gig of the year last night, the annual Soulwaxmas affair at the Brixton Academy, but this year; only went to see James Murphy dj for an hour; I'd left by 11.30 before Soulwax or their DJ alter-egos 2 Many DJ's showed their face; as i've seen their shows many times over the course of the past 3 years.

anyone watch the Slade documentary on Beeb4 this Friday?

it's amazing the bad luck they had in not cracking the US; given that 7 / 8 years after their heyday; their sound became an integral part of the blueprint for the US 80's rock scene.

so about 3am this morning, watched the film Cockneys vs Zombies; your typical 50p budget zombie flick, staring many great names from British TV (bow down to Brick Top), but a theme song so majestic, early contender (although released last year) as my song of 2013!

Rockney Vs Zombies feat. Chas & Dave. Head To Head (With The Undead) - official promo video

It will take more than the walking dead to make a Cockney run!
