Farewell tours mean nothing. Once they need some money they will go back on the road.
How many farewell tours did Cher do?

You know, I honestly believe Sixx on this ......

If you look at the bigger picture, Sixx has more than enough projects & avenue's to venture down to keep him going.
Tommy, well, if actions & cyber language are to go by he can't get out of the band quick enough. 1 day he will realize that the autumn of his crue career, should have been his best. Instead he was intent on prancing about as a second rate dj, trying to be cool in a mainly youth orientated dance culture. 50+ yr old men, no matter who, unless you are figure who has been there from the start, do inevitably look rather sad. Reality TV beckons. Shame really, as I believe he is an amazing drummer & could... no should have been up there at the top table.
Vince, I believe will continue performing as a solo artist & pretty much as carry on as he does now when Crue are off the road.
Mick ... Who knows, hopefully he will make that solo album, pop up as a guest with other artist's & finally get the recognition he deserves.

All i know is, I want to be there at that final show, it will be their last, of that i'm sure.

Nikki says ALOT of things... only believe about 25% of it; that's been proven time & again. What Vinnie says is your best bet when it comes to what's happening with the band.

Maybe ... but it seems common knowledge they are ramping up to end it.
IIRC, I've read all but Mick say it's coming to an end & Mick never really let's on anyway.
I think they will stick to their words.

Not to be a party-pooper ..... but, its time for them to call it a day. You've gotten the same old show for the last 20 years. Other than when they reunited for the COS tour its been a bust.

BUT I STILL GO EVERY TIME THEY'RE NEAR ME

Taking into account that I'm reading Soundtrack and New Album as 2 different items; this still gives Motley possibly 4 more years as a band; which is probably what most thought were left with the band before anything was said.

Dealing with the film will probably take up more time than the other aspects, and it has to be released prior to any farewell release/tour to maximise interest and revenue for the farewell

jasn88cubs is probably not far off with his 2019 prediction

2013 - tour (as current)
2014 - work on film (maybe record 2 new songs for ST) / start on new album
2015 - film gets release /ST gets released / promote film / complete new album / announce final tour
2016 / 2017 - release new album and tour 18 months to 2 years
2018 - RIP Motley

(solo ventures also taking up time within the above time-scales)

Yes, I can agree with this forecast.. I also think by then it would be right in saying it would be a good time to wrap up. Sad.. but right.

I tend to agree with Motley Cockney about Sixx speaking the truth here, but let's not forget how they always said they'd break the band up if an original member left. Then when Vince was out of the band, Nikki said that Vince would never sing with Motley again.
So, as much as I'd like to fully believe him, history has shown us that he's a Liar, and that's the truth!

If thats true then 2016/2017 could be the end

Vince is usually pretty near the mark & given they said it will be over within 3 years I think this ties in. Personally can see it something like this ...
*Vegas,
*Time off
*Album recorded & Released early next year year ( Possibly also recording a movie soundtrack for future release if & when)
*Farewell World Tour starts mid 2014 taking in Europe, Far East, S.America,N.America finishing sometime in 2015.

Then that's it, Goodnight Crue & thanks for the memories !
